Boomi is a small town with a big heart located in North West NSW near the border of Queensland. It is about an hours drive north of Moree and one hour west of Goondiwindi.
Boomi welcomes travelers to come and enjoy its warm hospitality and meet it's friendly people.
Boomi is renowned for it's Artesian hot baths, drawing people from near and far to enjoy the pure underground Artesian water and relax by the pools in the Baths complex.
The Pioneer Hotel is known for its authentic country atmosphere, great meals and cold beer.
Boomi Co-op does a great burger and chips, coffee and more.
Boomi is a farming community made up of cattle, sheep, grain cropping and cotton industries.
The Boomi community boasts many energetic groups, who together with the generous support and help of the local people provide a wide variety of essential and fun organisations.
BOOMI CO-OP & CARAVAN PARK
Boomi Co-op is a community operated general store, takeaway and caravan park. The Co-op shop is located right next to the Boomi Artesian Baths. The Co-op does a great burger & chips, coffee, milkshakes and more to takeaway or enjoy by the pool.
BOOMI ARTESIAN BATHS
Boomi spa and swimming pool complex is a terrific place to relax either in the water, on a poolside lounge or on the lush green lawn under the shade sails.
Boomi hosts a 25 metre cold pool, wading pool and a hot Artesian spa pool. The mineral rich hot water flows from nearly a mile underground from the Great Artesian Basin.
